North Central Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Any student who is an active member of a Cumberland Presbyterian congregation within North Central Presbytery attending Bethel College is eligible for $1,000 per semester with a maximum of $2,000 per year. Any student who is an active member of a Cumberland Presbyterian congregation within North Central Presbytery attending Memphis Theological Seminary is eligible for $1,000 per semester or summer term with a maximum of $3,000 per year. Probationers attending schools other than Bethel College or Memphis Theological Seminary will be reviewed on an individual basis by the Board of Ministry and the Board of Finance and Trustees. Any probationer enrolled in the Program of Alternate Studies (PAS) is eligible for $1,500 in scholarship funds per year. New scholarship funds will be awarded only after the successful completion of all previously-taken PAS courses. All scholarship recipients must maintain a 2.0 grade point average per semester on a 4.0 scale, be in good standing with the school, and be classified as a full time student (with the exception of students in the Program of Alternate Studies) to be eligible for scholarship funds the following semester. At the end of each semester, continuing students shall send a copy of their grades and a request for ongoing scholarship to the Treasurer of the Presbytery.
